I always was involved in environmental
actions, with friends or at school. Later on I met a lot of
people already working for Greenpeace. They inspired me to
volunteer to work on the Greenpeace ships.
For over twenty years it has been a
dream of mine to work for Greenpeace. What I love about working
for Greenpeace is that "small" people fight against
the big guys: David versus Goliath so to speak. What I want
to say about dreams is this: you should always keep fighting,
keep trying getting there. Work towards your goal. Keep looking
for that dream, never give up. Alfonso, the former 1st mate
at the Rainbow Warrior, told me this: "People who keep
on fighting, will win."
