My first memory of Greenpeace was when
I was about 10 years old and was of their campaign against
the seal hunt in Canada. The bombing of the first Rainbow
Warrior in Auckland by the French Government was also huge
story in Australian and New Zealand. During my university
years I started working for Greenpeace as a part time job
to support me through my studies.
One of the reasons I still like working
for Greenpeace after twelve years, are the people. Not many
jobs offer you the opportunity to work with like minded people
from all over the world. To have all these people from different
countries and from very different cultural backgrounds committed
to working together to make the world a better place is very
inspirational.
